I was really nervous because of the unique colour of the brick on my house and having a difficult time deciding on a door colour and style that would suit. Eventually I just trusted Rick’s recommendation and so happy that I did now. Phil the installer showed up impressively early and wasted no time with getting the old door and frame off and putting the new door on. Phil did an amazing job and very professional and friendly. Doorway Inc. replaced both our front door and back door to the backyard. We received 4 other quotes and Doorway were the most competitively priced and offered in house custom staining. UPDATE: We recently used Doorway for a 2nd time, this time for our front door and it looks amazing. We wanted something more modern that would still let in light. Laura helped us find exactly what we were looking for. She was very thorough at explaining the materials they use and how the installation works. They offer a vast selection of doors and designs and Rick had several colours for us to choose from so it would match our house nicely. Our new door wasn't scheduled to be installed until August, but they were able to do it at the end of June! Eric came out to install our new door and the best word to describe him is incredible. He really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he cares about his work, it shows! Even after installation, we noticed a small blemish in the paint and Rick came out to fix it promptly. We couldn't be happier with our new door. And are so glad we went with Doorway again. We were looking for a while for French doors with frosted glass windows and needed a custom setup (one needed to be latched, etc). The type and style we wanted seemed hard to come by, so after finding them at Home Depot, we almost ordered the doors from there. Until they were going to submit the order based off of our measurements (that we had roughly taken), so something told us not to go through with it. Thankfully we didn't! They told us we needed pre-hung doors, which was completely incorrect and almost ended up costing us double the price unnecessarily. Not to mention the 7-8 weeks for the doors to even come in, plus waiting for an installation date. We happened to drive by Doorway and decided to stop in. Rick was so patient with us while we explained what we wanted and even though we didn't know exactly what we were talking about, he knew exactly what we needed. Right away telling us we didn't need pre-hung doors (imagine our relief!) AND that they could be ordered, made and installed within 3 weeks. The best part was it cost us less than half of what Home Depot was going to charge (installation was included in the quoted price with Doorway). Rick came to take proper measurements a couple of days later and in less than 3 weeks, our doors were installed. They look fantastic, fit the space perfectly and we are so pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rick and his staff to anyone!
